CANAIMA CARE...

Autumn/Winter months mean special care for your plants. Here are a few things we recommend:

During these cooler days and colder nights, reduce the amount of fertilizer you normally feed.

The time for repotting is always after your plants bloom.

Very important: trim the trees and bushes around your orchid plants. Orchids need more light now.

We highly recommend cleaning up your orchid plants, removing dry leaves and other organic materials.

Be aware and be prepared: cold temperatures can come on quickly. Protect your precious plants.

Write us with your questions and we'll do our best to respond in a timely fashion.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

Michael Sinn Travels to Japan

Michael will appear and assist at the Open House and Special Sale at Wakayama Orchids (www.w-orchids.net), Osaka, Japan, October 24-26.

He will deliver a lecture on Cattleya Species Saturday the 25th at a special event for the Wakayama Orchid Club.

From October 31-November 3, he will appear at the Sauwada Orchid Nursery (www.suwada.com) open house event, and will give a lecture on Venezuelan Cattleya species and how to judge them. Canaima Orchids is honored to have our own plants for sale at both events.
