Welcome to Canaima orchids

-- famous for discriminating taste and a tradition of seeking only the best worldwide sources for orchids.

We have created one of the world's premier collections of Cattleya and Laelia species. Our gene pool of choice species has allowed us to develop a breeding program that produces superior award-quality offspring. Divisions of awarded and select plants become available on a regular basis.

We take pride in our most recent award...

Canaima's Chocolate Our Newest Award!
C. schilleriana "Canaima's Chocolate"
HCC/AOS
April Judging Meeting
West Palm Beach, FL

This beautiful and exotic Cattleya species is native to Brazil. Sadly, their natural habitat has been almost destroyed. It is very easy to grow. As most of the bifoliate Cattleyas, it needs around 50% shade, and really doesn't like to be wet for long time periods. They do well on a pice of natural cork or on a stick of driftwood.

THE WORKSHOP YOU'VE ASKED FOR IS THIS SATURDAY (August 9th)!

Attention Orchid Societies:

Society field trips to Canaima Orchids are welcome. Plan a luncheon meeting with us.

We offer Special Discounts for society members who purchase plants while on a group trip to our nursery. All plants will be discounted 10%, plus we will return to the Society an additional 10% of the total purchases in the form of raffle plants for fund raising events!

We can also arrange for specialized programs to be given to your group during your trip, tailored to the interests and experience level of the particular members attending. If you have other unique ideas or needs, contact Michael Sinn at Canaima and discuss possibilities.

Special: Societies and organizations that book Michael Sinn to speak to their groups can pre-order plants from Canaima prior to the engagement. Michael will hand deliver them to the event.
